The Club’s full range of sports, fitness, dining and social activities caters to every member of the family. Onion Creek Club truly embodies the philosophy of its founder, Jimmy Demaret: friendliness, camaraderie, and good fun. There is no other golf club in the Austin area that provides the history steeped in tradition and quality, the convenience to downtown and surrounding neighborhoods, and most importantly, the opportunity to make new friends and have fun!
Onion Creek Club is known mainly for being the “Birthplace of the Senior PGA Tour” hosting the first ever Senior PGA event in 1978. The Legends of Golf was held at Onion Creek Club from 1978-1989.
