Situated on the mystical island of Langkawi, The Els Club Teluk Datai is renowned for its spectacular vistas of marbled mountain peaks, virgin rainforest and the emerald green Andaman Sea. Designed by 4-time Major Champion, Ernie Els, the 18-hole championship course is located within Teluk Datai (Datai Bay). The course is designed uniquely without any bunkers but at the same time enjoyed by both leisure and pro golfers because of its stunning scenery.
The Els Club comprises two unique Malaysian destinations. The island of Langkawi in the northwest region of Malaysia is home to the Rainforest Course in Teluk Datai. Langkawi is reachable via a 60-minute flight from Kuala Lumpur.
Desaru Coast, to the southeast of peninsular Malaysia, is home to the Ocean Course and Valley Course.
Access to Desaru Coast is a 1-hour, 45-minute drive from Singapore, soon also to be connected by a 30-minute direct ferry service.
