PGA Catalunya Resort - Barcelona, Spain - Reciprocal Club

The golfing inspiration for PGA Catalunya Resort came from Ryder Cup star Neil Coles and Angel Gallardo, a legend in Spanish golf. They teamed up to create two courses - the Stadium Course and the Tour Course - that would provide the maximum level of enjoyment at every hole. The result is an architectural masterpiece of golf with fairways bordered by dense, mature forests, ever-present water and far-reaching views.

Located just 45 minutes north of Barcelona in the quaint town of Girona, this world-class venue features outstanding practice and coaching facilities, used by international golf teams and professionals. With the celebration of several golf tournaments of the European Tour including the Spanish Open (2014, 2009, 2000), the European Tour Qualifying School (2008 - 2013) and the Sarazen World Open Championship (1999) the sports history of the PGA Catalunya Resort is well established.

The Costa Brava beaches and coves with crystal-clear water, rocky cliffs, lush vegetation and golden sand stretching from north to south along the entire coast are just minutes from PGA Catalunya Resort. Costa Brava’s beaches and coves are a must-visit for anyone seeking a day in the sun, an adventure on the sea with a range of water sports, a relaxing day of fishing or to simply discover the charm and magic of this extraordinary corner of the Mediterranean. In addition, the unique Girona Old Town is just 10 minutes from PGA Catalunya Resort; explore the fascinating mosaic of historical treasures and monuments that make up the city of Girona.
